Emergency Dispatch Services in Fort Devens, Massachusetts

REQUIREMENTS. THIS REQUIREMENT IS SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH FAR CLAUSE 52.232-18 1. The purpose of this solicitation is for the procurement of Emergency Dispatch Services in support of the Directorate of Emergency Services (DES), United States Army Garrison (USAG) Fort Devens, MA 01434-4429. The required Emergency Dispatch Services will assist the Fort Devens DES with routing calls through the local switchboard requiring Fire, Police, and/or Ambulance services to respond depending on the nature of the call received. The scope of this requirement is for Nashoba Valley Regional Dispatch District to provide emergency 9-1-1 services, to include monitoring all 9-1-1 phone calls from the Fort Devens installation, dispatch patrol cars to the recorded addresses of these calls and dispatch ambulances and fire services to theses calls, if needed. 2. The Government intends to solicit and award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract under Other than Full and Open Competition as sole source to Nashoba Valley Regional Dispatch District, as they are the only contractor available operating a dispatch center connected to the local switchboard that receives all localized emergency calls.
