Description

The United States Government (USG) requests the execution of planned façade refurbishment works at a U.S. Embassy Mexico City–owned housing compound in Ciudad de México (CDMX). The

scope of work includes refurbishment of the exterior façade, interior façade, parking area access, the adjacent building's wall on the north side, the pool deck area, and elements associated with common areas. The work encompasses surface preparation and painting of façade finishes; painting of handrails, metal pipes, metal joints in the façade, and metal window protection elements; and the sealing and selective repair of Cantera stone, including but not limited to window perimeters, cornices, and architectural components within the hall that form part of the interior façade. While the project is primarily preventive in nature, localized areas of the façade require minor corrective interventions, including the replacement or reinstatement of fallen, loose, or missing Cantera elements, to ensure continuity, safety, and material performance.
