NAICS Code: 339115 – Ophthalmic Goods Manufacturing a. If a different NAICS code is suggested, please include the proposed NAICS code and rationale. 2. Description of request: The Indian Health Service (IHS), Albuquerque Area Office, Ute Mountain Ute Service Unit (UMUSU), is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of providing Prescription Eyeglass Fabrication Services for the Optometry Department in Towaoc, Colorado. The contractor shall provide fabrication of prescription eyeglasses, including frames and lenses at various

pricing levels (including economy options), in accordance with applicable ANSI and FDA standards. Services shall include single vision, bifocal, trifocal, progressive, aphakic, and safety eyewear, as prescribed. The Service Unit is seeking a vendor who can furnish a representative sample kit of frames and lenses and maintain a supply of a variety of frame styles, sizes, and colors to support patient selection.
