The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to inspect and test the Medical Gas Distribution System at the VA San Diego Healthcare System for compliance with NFPA 99 standards. The inspection must be conducted by certified medical gas inspectors.
Scope & Requirements
To test the VA San Diego Medical Gas System for compliance with NFPA 99 Healthcare Facilities Code, including inspections of patient terminal outlets/inlets, alarm systems, shut-off valves, and source equipment.
Deliverables
- Report of all findings
- Re-certification of any previous changes to the medical gas system as directed by NFPA 99
- Conduct various tests and inspections as per NFPA 99 and ASSE 6000 requirements
