The Air Force Test Center (AFTC) intends to award a sole source contract to Ansys Government Initiatives, LLC (AGI) for the continued provision of advanced modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) software, comprehensive maintenance, and engineering services allowing the Test Center to enhance core test and evaluation capabilities for complex weapon systems ensuring operational continuity within its legacy AGI software environment. The anticipated contract will be a firm-fixed price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for software licenses and ancillary engineering services with an anticipated award date of
21 May 2026. The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition is 10 United States Code (USC) 3204(a)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul 6.103-1(b). This authority is supported by an approved sole source justification letter. The applicable NAICS code is 513210 with a size standard, defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration, is $47,000,000.00. This notice constitutes neither a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does it restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach.
