UPDATE FAR PROVISION 52.252-3, ALTERATIONS IN SOLICITATION.C.) ADD FAR 52.249-2 ALT 1 TERMINATION FOR CONVENIENCE OF THE GOVERNMENT (FIXED-PRICE)The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed contract for New Jersey Intra Coastal Waterway Bank/Shoreline Stabilization Cape May Canal/Point Pleasant Canal in Cape May, New Jersey. DESCRIPTION: The contract work consists of construction of a revetment of approximately 220 linear feet on the north bank of the Cape May Canal, in Lower Township, New Jersey and placement of riprap toe protection at the Point Pleasant Canal bulkhead in Point Pleasant, NJ. Work at the Cape May Canal site includes clearing and grubbing, removal and disposal of gabion basket wire, excavation, placement of geotextile, installation of marine mattress, placement of riprap and imported sand fill, restoration of the area including topsoil, seeding and mulching, and fabrication and installation of signage. Work at the Point Pleasant site consists of the placement of riprap in the water at the toe of the existing bulkhead at the canal entrance to the Manasquan River. DISCLOSURE OF MAGNITUDE OF THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 365 Calendar Days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Pre-Bid Site Visit: The pre-bid site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday,

17 March 2026 at 12:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), at the Cul-de-sac at the end of New Port Drive and the Cape May Canal, Lower Township, NJ Recommend using GPS coordinates, 3857 24.7 N 7454 30.9 W. There will only be one site visit. Bidders should inspect the job site prior to submitting an offer. Bidders should take such other steps as may be reasonably necessary to ascertain the nature and location of the work and the general and local conditions that can affect the work or the cost thereof. Failure to do so will not relieve offerors from the responsibility for properly estimating the difficulty or cost of successfully performing the work. The Government assumes no responsibility for any understanding or representations concerning conditions made by any of its officers, agents or employees, unless included in the solicitation, the specifications or related documents. REGISTRATION: Only registered persons will be permitted to attend the site visit.
