The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service is contracting for vault pumping services at multiple sites within the Sitka Ranger District in Southeast Alaska to ensure safe, sanitary, and operational septic systems throughout the open season, requiring compliance with EPA, NEPA, and OSHA regulations while providing all labor, equipment, transportation, and disposal services under a non-personal services arrangement.
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and non-personal services necessary to pump, dispose of sewage, clean, and backfill vaults and septic systems at multiple locations within the Sitka Ranger District, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
This is a non-personal services contract for vault pumping services for the Forest Service, Sitka Ranger District (SRD), Tongass National Forest (TNF), Southeast Alaska. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the contractor who, in turn, is responsible to the Government. Purpose: The purpose of this contract is to ensure that vaults and septic equipment located in the Sitka Ranger District remain safe, sanitary, and fully operational throughout the open season; comply with all applicable Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
requirements; and support the continuous, reliable, and sanitary operation of all units. Description of Services: The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, and all other items and non‑personal services necessary to provide vault pumping services at multiple sites within the Sitka Ranger District. Services include, but are not limited to, pumping, sewage disposal, cleaning, and backfilling to ensure all units remain safe, sanitary, and operational. All services shall be performed in accordance with (IAW) this Performance Work Statement (PWS) and all applicable local, state, and federal standards, laws, and regulations.
Place of Performance: The work shall be performed in Sitka, Southeast Alaska.
Period of Performance: The
