A. Shore Tie Terminal Maintenance Inspect all shore tie terminals where vessels connect to shore power. Identify and document any damage, corrosion, moisture intrusion, or other deficiencies. Repair any identified issues to restore full functionality. Dry and seal all shore tie terminals to prevent future moisture intrusion. Test terminals for proper operation after repairs and sealing.
B. Electrical Line Inspection and Grooming Inspect the electrical line running from the FRC Floating Pier Isolation Transfer to the shore tie terminals. Clean and groom all accessible portions of the line, removing debris, corrosion, and contaminants. Conduct a thorough inspection for physical damage, wear, or potential failure points. Perform Megger (insulation resistance) testing on the electrical lines to identify any insulation breakdowns or other potential issues.
