Description

The United States Military Academy, West Point, NY has a requirement to lease one new High Pressure Sewer and Industrial Vacuum Manhole Cleaner. This truck must be roadworthy and equipped to meet all NYS safety requirement. This truck is to be used to remove sand, stones, bottles, cans, sludge and other debris from storm and sanitary sewer lines, catch basins, man-holes, and ditches from a front mounted operating station. The unit shall have a positive displacement air compressor, a hy-draulically driven high pressure water pump, self-contained water supply, and an enclosed 15 cubic yard sealed body for stor-age of the collected debris. The system shall have a capability of operating both vacuum and jet rodder simultaneously at rated operating pressure. A qualified tech-nician will provide complete training at the USAG West Point DPW Land Maintenance staff. Training will include safety, operation, maintenance and service.
