Description

This is a combined for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Amended solicitation number 1232SA26Q0206 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a chilled water pump repair for USDA ARS NCAH Ames, IA. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov. The applicable North American Industry Standard Code is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. The small business size standard is $19M This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. The magnitude of construction is between $200,000 and $300,000. Department of Labor Wage Determination IA20250074 dated 1/2/2026 is attached and applicable to this requirement. After award, in accordance with Contract Clause 52.228-15, and FAR 28.102, Contractors are reminded that any amount awarded over $35,000.00 shall require a Payment Bond (SF 25A), and awards exceeding $150,000.00 shall require both Payment and Performance Bonds (SF 25). Payment and Performance bonds are due no later than 10 days after notification of award. Two organized site visits have been conducted, another organized site visit will not be held. Quotes are due by 1:00 p.m. Central Time on March 25, 2026 via email to [email protected].
