Description

DLA Weapons Support (Richmond) intends to issue a solicitation for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) program to acquire hybrid horizontal lathes. Hybrid is defined as a lathe with more than 1 on board machine operation such as grinding, milling, and directed energy deposition (DED) additive manufacturing. A Complete technical data package VIB 25-40-1005 including all design, lubrication, supplies, site visit and labor

requirements will be included as a part of the solicitation. BPA orders will consist of the lathe equipment plus turnkey services which include: installation, foundation, training, technical data, tooling, IUID tags, shipping, service agreement/extended warrant, and accessories. DLA plans to publish the solicitation of this BPA on/around

31 July 2026 BPA's intent is to service Department of War agencies. Location of performance will vary. As of this posting, location(s) include: Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City, OK The BPA has a brand name requirement to procure commercial DMG Mori Hybrid Horizontal Lathes. A copy of the written solicitation will be available via the DLA DIBBS website at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ Solicitations are in Portable Document Format (PDF).
