Description

The MICC FORT HOOD, on behalf of the 2nd Brigade (2BDE) at Fort Hood, TX, has a requirement for a commercial, subscription-based mass text messaging platform. Purpose: This service will provide a direct and immediate communication pathway to soldiers and their families for community events, family readiness group (FRG) activities, and other non-operational announcements. The

objective is to replace less effective, traditional communication methods and improve community engagement and morale. Key

Requirements: The Government requires a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) solution that includes, at a minimum: A pre-paid bundle of 600,000 message credits to be delivered at the start of the performance period. The capability to send both SMS (text only) and MMS (multimedia/picture) messages. A dedicated, high-volume, A2P 10DLC registered phone number to ensure message deliverability. Dedicated onboarding assistance to train the Government user on the platform. An assigned account manager for ongoing customer and technical support.
