Description

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Buffalo District, has a requirement for the FY26 Mount Morris Dam Internal Electrical Rehab project. The work involves the comprehensive upgrade of unserviceable and outdated electrical infrastructure within a critical infrastructure facility. This includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of 15 electrical panels, 14 junction boxes, and associated power conductors for a 3-phase, 208V system. The project requires highly specialized work, including the installation of two new ground rods into bedrock at the base of the dam and routing new electrical cables through an existing elevator shaft. The contractor must be proficient in coordinating all activities to ensure minimal downtime of critical operational circuits. The work requires licensed electricians experienced in performing complex tasks within an active civil works facility. Magnitude of Construction: The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. Acquisition Strategy: This procurement will be conducted as a Full and Open Competition. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The HUBZone price preference will apply in accordance with FAR Part 19.13. Proposed Solicitation Release: The solicitation is anticipated to be issued between April and May. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued.
