Quoters must include their Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) in their quotes. Vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), www.sam.gov. The
Contracting Officer will verify registration in the SAM database prior to the award by entering the potential awardee’s UEI number into the SAM database. Failure to complete the registration procedures outlined in this clause may result in the elimination from consideration for award. The Government reserves the right to make a formal award to a single vendor or multiple vendors, based on the best overall value, which will be evaluated on price, delivery time, and past performance.
