The purpose of this amendment is to extend the due date for quotes to 4/9/2026. The U.S. Forest Service is waiting for the design contractor to provide answers and possible updates, which is required because of solicitation
questions. An additional amendment will be issued that will provide answers to all solicitation
questions asked from interested parties. Amendment 1: The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to solicitation
questions. The attached document titled C-3 QA 1240BJ26Q0003 provides answers to the initial six
questions received. Description - This is a combined for the following commercial services: Base Items: Pole Barn Building that includes: (1) grading the existing storage yard area for stormwater drainage improvements in the vicinity of the pole barn area; (2) Installation of all dry utilities to the new pole barn building; (3) and construction of the new pole barn building per the construction plans and specifications. Option Item: Relocation of Seward Electric’s transformer as shown on Drawing E1.1 of the Pole Barn Plans. Option Item: Installing the security fence and gates around the storage yard per the construction plans and specifications.
Period of performance: 4/21/2026 to 11/30/2027. Project Location: This project is located at the Kenai Lake Work Center (KLWC). The address is Mile 24 Seward Highway, Seward AK 99664, on the west side of the highway.
