Page 6 of 7 Page 1 of Page 1 of STATEMENT OF NEED FOR CHEYENNE VA MEDICAL CENTER DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING (RADIOLOGY) 2360 E PERSHING BLVD, CHEYENNE WY 82001 REQUIREMENT The Cheyenne VA Medical Center Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology) requires a Nuclear Medicine Radiopharmaceuticals contract which is necessary to conduct Nuclear Medicine exams (i.e. Nuclear Cardiac Stress tests etc.). In accordance with Handbook 6500.6 Appendix A, A&A

requirements do not apply to this request, and a Security Accreditation Package is not required. SPECIFICATIONS Nuclear Radiopharmaceuticals require half-life for storage and cannot be stored in bulk at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center. Weekly delivery of nuclear radiopharmaceuticals shall be determined by type and number of exams ordered by physicians.
