Scope of work: UPS battery backups for medical refrigerators at the CBOCS are required to be replaced. 1. The Contractor shall furnish and deliver186 batteries to the VA Warehouse 3130 Pacific Street, North Charleston, SC 29418. 2. The contractor will pick up and properly dispose of the old batteries at the various CBOC locations listed below. 3. Contractor shall verify the type and specification of batteries required and submit specifications to the COR for approval. The VA shop staff will replace the batteries, collect and store old batteries at specified CBOC locations. The Contractor will then be responsible for pickup and proper disposal of all the replaced batteries in coordination with the COR, electrical shop lead or designated person.
