Description

The Air Mobility Command (AMC) Museum at Dover Air Force Base (AFB), DE requires corrosion control, surface preparation, and historically accurate exterior painting services for four static display artifact aircraft, including the KC-10A, C-133B, C-124A, and C-45G. Amendment 0001 Update: Based on

questions from industry and coordination with the Dover AFB Environmental Office, this solicitation is hereby amended. Offerors are now required to submit paint Manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and Technical Data Sheet (TDS) with their quote. Mandatory Environmental & Submission

Requirements: To ensure compliance with Delaware and Ozone Transport Commission (OTC) Phase II regulations, offerors must include the following in their quote package: Low VOC Paint: All proposed primers, paints, and topcoats MUST have a VOC content of less than 50 grams per liter (<50 g/l). SDS/TDS Submission: Offerors must submit the Manufacturer’s Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and Technical Data Sheet (TDS) for their proposed paint to verify VOC compliance. Gallon Estimate: Offerors must submit their total estimated paint volume (in gallons) required to complete all four aircraft. (Note: The Government will utilize the apparent awardee’s submitted SDS/TDS and estimated gallon volume to secure final exemption confirmation from the State of Delaware prior to contract award.) ///END AMENDMENT/// Site Visit: Offerors are highly encouraged to attend a site visit to inspect the current condition of the four (4) aircraft and the worksite on the AMC Museum ramp.
