Circana is the only known source capable of obtain critical data needed to monitor the availability of infant formula products in the United States to support continuity of the FDA’s monitoring the infant formula supply chain - U.S. infant formula shortage initiative. No other sources have expressed an interest in writing in the proposed acquisition. This acquisition is being conducted using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR RFO Part 12 for the acquisition of commercial products and commercial services. The North American Industry System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition is 541910 - Marketing Research and Public Opinion Polling $22.5.
