The National Park Service (NPS) is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of contractors for an emergent upcoming project. All costs associated with providing information in response to this market survey shall be the responsibility of the firm. Any information submitted is voluntary. The

Contracting Officer will determine the acquisition strategy determination based on the results of this market survey.This project involves the identification, planning, removal, and disposal of hazard trees and storm-related debris within Julian Price Memorial Park Campground (approximately 62 acres) and the adjacent Price Picnic Area (approximately 28 acres) on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The forest in this area consists of an eastern mixed hardwoods common in the mountainous areas of Western North Carolina. The goal is to ensure public safety, protect park infrastructure, and maintain the natural environment. This work is in response to storm damage from Hurricane Helene and includes a significantly higher volume of tree removal and debris hauling than routine maintenance operations.The NAICS code for this project is 115310, with a small business size standard of $34M.Contractors must be registered as a small business under the listed socio-economic categories in SAM (System for Award Management) under NAICS code 115310 to be considered/confirmed.Overview: This project will include all work and labor to completeThis market research is being conducted to acquire additional information about potential contractors that may be interested in performing this work.
