The requirement is for both renewal of existing software licenses as well as the purchase of brand-new licenses required to accommodate growth. During the
period of performance, the contractor shall provide technical services to troubleshoot installation and incorporation of the software. This requirement is for a brand name only and equals will not be accepted. The proposed vendor must be an authorized distributor or reseller of Siemens software licenses. The Government intends to award a Fixed Price, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (FFP-IDIQ) contract with a
period of performance of five years. The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items. This acquisition will not be issued as a 100% small business set-aside. Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) or Export Controlled Information. Access to CUI is limited, to a single
point of contact (POC) per CAGE code, who is listed as the Data Custodian on the DD 2345 and approved by Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The DD 2345 must be approved prior to requesting access to CUI in SAM.gov. Contractors are responsible for coordinating with their CAGE code’s Data Custodian POC to request access to CUI.
