Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with PHILIPS NORTH AMERICA LLC. for services of the existing CT in the Radiation Oncology (RadOnc) Dept. being relocated from one building to another, at the Durham VA Medical Center (VAMC). Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 12.102(A) soliciting from a single source. The existing CT in the Radiation Oncology (RadOnc) Dept., located in the basement of the DVAMC, is a Philips Big Bore that was purchased and installed in 2019 and is still under warranty. After the completion of the new Cancer Center, Bldg. 42, this machine will be relocated to that building and reinstalled. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available, and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can meet these

requirements and possesses relevant experience, and expertise may give written notice. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
