QUESTIONS REGARDING THE PROCUREMENT WILL NOT BE ANSWERED DURING THE PRESOLICITATION PHASE. SUBMIT
QUESTIONS TO THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST AFTER THE SOLICITATION AND ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN POSTED. THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Furnish all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to apply a systematic aquatic herbicide to control Fanwort, Eurasian Milfoil, and Spiny Naiad in approximately 24.24 acres of Buffumville Lake. Charlton, MA. Granular Fluridone shall be the herbicide used to treat approximately 21.52 acres of Fanwort, split between two applications. Liquid Diquat Dibromide shall be the herbicide used to treat Spiny Naiad one time at the south end of the lake totaling approximately 2.72 acres. Furnish all labor and equipment necessary to conduct a full lake comprehensive invasive plant species survey with a detailed final report. In addition, furnish all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to conduct a partial river, all inclusive, invasive aquatic plant species survey on approximately 3.3 river miles of the French River, from Greenbriar Park to Hodges Village Dam, Oxford, MA, as well as hand removal of all Water Chestnut found. A final comprehensive report and maps of the presence of all aquatic invasive plant species will be submitted. This is not a request for quotes at this time. The solicitation
requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date will be available on or about April 14, 2026. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Contract Opportunities website (www.SAM.gov). This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 541990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19.5 Million. ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
