questions and or clarifications requests were received from interested parties. All
questions and clarifications have been consolidated.
Questions are denoted by “Q” and the response is denoted by “R.” Q1: There are one or two contradictions in the documents regarding the door specifications. Can you please clarify whether the door should be aluminum or stainless steel? Is this an insulated door? • In Section 6.1 (Products), the specification states that the door material must be "Aluminum in accordance with ASTM B-209" with an aluminum curtain and bottom bar. However, a few lines down in the same section, it states "Door shall have a galvanized finish".• Why it conflicts: Galvanization is a zinc-coating process applied strictly to steel to prevent rusting. Aluminum does not get galvanized; instead, it is typically left mill-finished, anodized, or powder-coated (which is also mentioned for the endlocks and hood).• Additionally, the specifications call for a 1/2 HP motor but later mention that the drive sprocket must match "5 HP torque
