Description

The work of this project consists of preparation and painting various mechanical equipment items and related items in the gate chamber at Colebrook River Lake in Colebrook, Connecticut.

Items to be prepared and painted are steel and include the bonnets, hydraulic piping, hydraulic cylinders, plumbing associated with the two sump pumps (not the sump pumps), the conduit pressure balancing pipe, the vertical float well pipe, air shafts, and one spiral staircase.

The entire spiral staircase shall be painted including the portion outside of the gate chamber.

Items not specifically included in the list above shall not be prepared and painted, The existing paint coatings on these items have partially failed, and there are areas of peeling, blistering, and rust.

The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000.
