Description

North Cascades National Park has a need for the delivery and placement of 3-man and 4-man rock and heavy-loose riprap at milepost 8 on the Stehekin Valley Road within the North Cascades National Park Complex's Lake Chelan National Recreation Area. Some of the material will be placed below OHW (Ordinary High Water) and in-water. Riprap shall be placed with equipment, rather than dumped by dump truck. The dimensions at the site are 160 Linear Feet and approximately 500 tons of material. Contractor to provide and deliver all equipment, labor, and 500 tons of riprap. Riprap will have to be procured outside of the Stehekin Valley, delivered to Stehekin by barge on Lake Chelan, and then trucked approximately 8 miles to the project site. This requirement is restricted for small businesses in the Chelan County area of Washington State in accordance with FAR 26.202-1 - Local area set-aside.
