The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Shiprock Service Unit in Shiprock, NM intends to restrict competition and negotiate an award with Datex-Ohmeda, Inc. (dba GE Healthcare) (UEI: NDZNF9EW7NP7) for preventative and corrective repair services. The

period of performance is five (5) years, consisting of a 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods. The applicable North American Industry System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance with a Small Business Administration size standard of $34.0 million. In accordance with RFO 12.102, for acquisitions valued at or below the simplified acquisition threshold, competition will be restricted because GE Datex-Ohmeda anesthesia systems must be performed by factory-trained technicians using genuine OEM parts. Unauthorized third-party servicing with non-OEM parts can comprise device functionality and safety. This Notice of Intent to Restrict Competition is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with this Notice of Intent.
