The injection molded components must be made from the following material: POLYETHERIMIDE UNFILLED (ULTEM
1000) IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM D5205. 1.2. The injection molded components must be the following color:BLACK IN ACCORDANCE WITH ANY OF THE 17000'S, 27000'S, 37000'S SERIES AS IDENTIFIED IN SAE-AMS-STD-595. 1.3. The injection molded components must be free of cracks, splits, perforations, burrs, corrosion and foreign matter. The cleaning method used should not be injurious to any part, nor should the parts be contaminated by any cleaning agent. 1.4. The injection molded components must have a surface finish of 32 Ra 1.5. The injection molded components must meet the drawing weight requirement .8 +/- .1 grains 1.6. The injection molded components must meet the strict dimensional
requirements of the drawing. 1.7 The Contractor must be able to produce 500,000 pieces per year and deliver at least 40,000 pieces per month for at least 2 years. 1.20. Prior to delivery of any lot of components the contractor shall coordinate with DEVCOM Points of Contact below to demonstrate the technical
requirements cited above through Raw Material Inspections conducted at the contractor?s facility.
