objectives of this procurement are: 2.1 To acquire the Captus 4000e Thyroid Uptake System made by Mirion/Capintec with integrated DICOM interface, custom protocol capabilities, automated QA testing, and ergonomic mobile stand. 2.2 To enable accurate thyroid uptake measurements, wipe tests, and quality control processes for radiopharmaceuticals used in diagnostic imaging procedures. 2.3 To interface the system directly with the hospital information systems for transfer of patient data, test results and QC records. 3. Requirements 3.1 The contractor shall provide one (1) Captus 4000e Thyroid Uptake System (Part # 5430-30152) including: - 20" all-in-one color touchscreen computer - Articulating arm with wide range of motion - Medical grade counter top and storage shelf - 1" lead shielded well detector - Integrated DICOM interface software - Custom protocol software - Ergonomic mobile stand - All required hardware, accessories and manuals 3.2 The system shall have a fully integrated DICOM interface (Part # 5430-00007) to communicate and transfer data with the VA's hospital information systems. 3.3 One (1) Neck Phantom (Part # 5230-0038) for thyroid uptake measurements shall be provided. 3.4 The contractor shall provide on-site training to medical staff on proper operation and use of the system. 4.
