This SYNOPSIS is inclusive of the following solicitations: FA8556-25-R-0015 (Proven Vendors Bid B) FA8556-25-R-0016 (Unproven Vendors Bid A) This notice serves as a SYNOPSIS for procurement of the Wing and Fin Subassemblies which are subcomponents of the AIM-120X, and CATM-120X series of Advanced Medium Range Air to Air Missile (AMRAAM). This acquisition is contemplated as a Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable Source Selection Full and Open Competition with a Small Business Set-Aside between proven and unproven vendors. 1420 01-396-0339 Wing Assembly, Guided Missile G601897 PT44 1420 01-397-0140 Fin, Guided Missile Assembly G601895 1420 01-364-8445 Fin, (AIM120/B) 3820431-101 1420 01-332-5347 Wing, (AIM/CATM120/B) 3820402-101 6920 01-295-3826 Fin, Missile-LT/CCM 7038180(-1) PY96 6920 01-422-6767 Fin Assy, CATM P3I 7006031-1 XY59 The fulfillment of the supplies listed above requires initial investment, first article testing, and an extended period of preparation for manufacture and production. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Government. Any capability statement will need to demonstrate how the source can provide each of the required Wings and Fins subassemblies without substantial duplication of costs. Technical Data Package (TDP) will become available upon solicitation release. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Amendment 1 This synopsis hereby removes the acqusition strategy of a dual solicitation for this requirement. All language and references related to a dual solicitation or separate competitive track is hereby rescinded. The upcoming solicitation will now follow a single, inclusive process designed to encourage broad participation from all capable vendors. The updated single solicitation number is now FA8556-26-R-B013 and will be released in due time. This synospsis also hereby amends to incorporate detailed drawings of the Advanced-Medium-Range-Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) wings and fins. This update is intended to foster a more competitive playing field for all potential offerors. Furthermore, all waiver submissions to allow for a to be a proven source must be received by the Government no later than ten (10) calendar days after the issuance of the final solicitation. The Government, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to request additional information from any contractor requesting a waiver. The Government will provide its determination on all waiver requests within five (5) calendar days of receipt of all necessary information, as determined by the Government. Contractors are strongly encouraged to submit their waiver request early and with sufficient detailed information to support their request as to allow them adequate time to prepare their proposals based upon their respective waiver determination Dillan Harper-Smith Alternative
