The contractor must comply with major VA facility security and access
requirements. Work shall be performed during normal business hours and coordinated with the
Contracting Officer s Representative (COR).
BACKGROUND The VA Jackson Regional . One wastewater lift pump (Pump #1 in the West Lift Station) requires removal, off-site repair, and reinstallation to ensure continued safe operation of the wastewater handling system.
SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, supervision, and transportation necessary to perform the following tasks: Removal of Pump #1 from the West Lift Station control box. Disconnection and removal of necessary piping, electrical wiring, and pump-mounted hardware. Off-site pump rebuilding with an estimated lead time of 3 5 days. Replacement or refurbishment of worn or damaged internal components. Reinstallation of the repaired pump and motor assembly.
