Dust Abatement Water Trucks for Forest Service Operations

Solicitation number 1240LS26Q0033 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for The Salmon-Challis National Forest, Idaho, is in need of two water trucks (with operators) to support road preparation and application of Chloride dust palliatives on the Salmon River Road (60030), Stanley-Landmark (40579), and Dagger-Boundary (40568) roads. Watering shall be performed to prepare the road by pre-wetting the road to support grading and application of the dust palliative product. The application of chloride dust palliatives requires that the roads be pre-wetted to ensure that the chloride brine penetrates the road. This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns.
