Description

The U.S. Coast Guard requires services for the contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, and other items and services necessary to remove, replace, and dispose of corroded roofing (approximately 3 panels or 50 sq ft) and associated flashing; installing new 24-gauge metal roof panels; removing and disposing of approximately 1,200 sq ft of damaged sheetrock; and installing new 5/8” marine-grade plywood. The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed-price purchase order for this project. The full

Where Federal Acquisition Regulation clause language is inconsistent with FAR 13.004, Legal Effect of Quotations, that language is hereby tailored in accordance with FAR 12.302 to be consistent with a request for quotations. This tailoring includes but is not limited to the following: In accordance with FAR 13.004, a quotation is not an offer, and any clause provision to the contrary is hereby modified to be consistent with FAR 13.004. A MANDATORY site visit will be held for interested quoters. All interested parties must arrive no later than five minutes prior to the start time indicated. Contractors are strictly prohibited from walking on the roof during the site visit. However, contractors are authorized and encouraged to utilize their own drones to conduct visual inspections of the exterior roof conditions, provided they operate safely and comply with all local regulations.
