This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901, utilizing Simplified acquisition procedures - a sole source acquisition using simplified procedures for the acquisition of commercial products and/or commercial services, as implemented by FAR 12.102(b). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under these procedures. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond, however this notice is not intended as a request for competitive quotations from any source. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement action based on response received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
