This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 1.a. Project Title: Tree & Stump Removal 1.b. Description: VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System is seeking a contractor to remove three (3) trees and their stumps next to the DWP Substation, which is adjacent to Building 52, and Sixteen (16) existing stumps at the Sepulveda OPC & Nursing Home Facility located at 16111 Plummer St. North Hills, CA 91343. 1.c. Project Location: VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System 1.d. Solicitation Type - Number: Request for Quotes (RFQ) - 36C26226Q1102. 1.e. Set Aside: This solicitation is issued as an SDVOSB set aside. 1.f. Applicable NAICS code: 561730 Landscaping Services. 1.g. Small Business Size Standard: $9.5 million 1.h. Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price 1.i.

BACKGROUND. Storm damage has caused large tree limbs to break off and fall on the DWP Pad-Mounted Circuit Switch. The debris caused Access difficulty for the DWP Line Crew which delayed Power Restoration for the whole Facility. These tree Roots are growing into and between the underground High Voltage Conduits and moving critical infrastructure. 2.2. SCOPE. All work shall be performed on the Sepulveda OPC & Nursing Home facility at 16111 Plummer St, North Hills, CA 91343. Service(s) to be performed: All Labor and Equipment to remove three (3) Trees, their Stumps, and sixteen (16) other stumps around the Facility. Clean up and Debris Removal
