Description

The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to provide Exercise and Training Support Services to meet the collective training

requirements of the National Guard (NG) Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Response Enterprise (CRE). The CRE consists of elements nationwide, including the: Weapons of Mass Destruction - Civil Support Team (WMD-CST) CBRN Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) Homeland Response Force (HRF) These units are postured to support civil authorities and federal partners in domestic incidents and specified threats. Please see the attached "CRE 101 Overview" for additional information about the National Guard's CBRN Response Enterprise. Temporary contractor support is occasionally required during training exercises and typically involves role players and subject matter experts in the Incident Command System (ICS), Urban Search and Rescue, HAZMAT Response, and Medical Triage. These training events typically last one week, are held nationwide on a regular basis, and have their own specific

requirements. Historically, these exercise support services have been contracted individually by the contracting . Market Research is now being conducted to evaluate the viability of creating a Multiple Award Contract (MAC) – Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) to support these training events, with the intent that Task Orders will be placed for each event. Contractors responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards.
