Description

This is a combined for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

  • (ii) The solicitation number 36C26226Q0488 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to award a single, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award contract.
  • (iii) The provisions and clauses in this document are in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-03, January 1, 2025.
  • (iv) This solicitation will be a total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside, to a business associated with The North American Industry System (NAICS) Code, 339113, and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard of 800 employees.
  • (v) The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to make a procurement for dermatology exam tables for the VA Long Beach Healthcare System. This solicitation is being procured as a brand name or equal IAW 52.211-6 -- Brand Name or Equal. The submissions must meet the following salient characteristics: Must: 1. Must be a barrier-free, Americans with Disability Act-accessible examination chair 2. Must have a minimum seat height of 18 inches or less to support safe wheelchair transfers Must provide electric power adjustment for: Height, Backrest, Tilt including pelvic tilt positioning 3. Must support a minimum patient weight capacity of 450 lbs 4. Must include a wired hand control for precise positioning 5. Must include a stable, non-tip base design for clinical safety 6. Must include medical-grade, seamless upholstery Must be fluid-resistant Must be constructed with seamless, non-porous materials that allow cleaning and disinfection in accordance with VHA Directive 1131(2), Infection Prevention and Control Program, and compatible with VA-approved disinfectants used in clinical environments. 7. Must include a cleaning mobility system such as but not limited to: a Clean Assist Roller System or equal 8. Must include integrated electrical receptacles/outlets for powered dermatology instruments 9. Must include a minimum of one (1) integrated storage drawer with heater for warming supplies 10. Must operate using standard 120V hospital-grade power 11. Must be clinically rated for daily use in a VA dermatology clinic 12. Must support patient positioning for full-body dermatologic examinations and procedures 13. Must allow unobstructed clinical access to head, neck, torso, and extremities 14. Must be compatible with minor dermatologic procedures (such as but not limited to: biopsies, excisions, lesion removals) The information identified above is intended to be descriptive, not restrictive and to indicate the quality and services that will be satisfactory. It is the responsibility of the interested source to demonstrate to the government that the interested parties can provide the services that fulfill the required specifications.
