This is a Sources Sought Notice / RFI only. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice / RFI is to gain information about potential qualified sources and their size relative to NAICS 336211 (size standard of 1000 Employees). Responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this Sources Sought Notice / RFI, further RFIs and/or a solicitation or other announcements may be published. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking sources capable of providing Vantage LIV9DC Lithium Cargo Van ambulance STATEMENT OF WORK PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Device must have the physical characteristics to enable the government to perform following capabilities: Device Brand Name/ LIV9DC Lithium Cargo Van ambulance - Must have an electric powered train and use lithium batteries. - Must be equipped with a locking driver, passenger and rear patient compartment doors. - Must have power steering. - Patient compartment must be able to accommodate 30" wide and 84" long stretcher and has seat to accommodate a medical attendant. - Must have equipment storage spaces for supplies and accessories. - Must be equipped with air conditioning and heater. - Must be equipped with headlights, horn, turn signals, windshield washer and wipers, side mirrors - Must have emergency flashers/lights. - Must have an emergency siren and speaker. - Decal or paint must be on outside identifying vehicle as Emergency Response Vehicle.
