Background. The Washington DC VA Medical Center has a need for the Rampart Radiation Protection System for the Cath Lab. This system will greatly reduce radiation scatter during cardiac catheterization procedures and allow providers to go lead free, if desired. This system shall be compatible with and mounted onto Skytron Freedom series booms and the Philips Azurion M20 flurorscopy table. Installation and training for clinical staff must be included.
