The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service requires a contractor to provide comprehensive biohazardous and regulated medical waste management services for the Santa Fe Indian Health Center, San Felipe Health Clinic, Santa Clara Health Clinic, and Cochiti Health Clinic. Services include but are not limited to: Collection and removal of regulated medical waste Collection and disposal of sharps containers Transportation of regulated medical waste Treatment and destruction of infectious waste Final disposal in approved facilities Emergency spill response support Manifest and tracking documentation Annual staff training Container replacement and maintenance Compliance reporting and recordkeeping WORK SCHEDULE: General Business Days: Monday-Friday Business hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Base + 4 Option Periods
