The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for Goodrich Corporation advanced propulsor bearing (APB) components.

The compliant material is available solely from Goodrich Corporation, as the only vendor capable of supplying the proprietary material is Goodrich.

The NAICS code is 336611 and the business size is 1,300 employees.

The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Goodrich Corporation.

The proposed action is for APB components, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii).

The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: Goodrich Corporation is the only source of the required material that can meet the Government’s schedule.
