Description
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3998, intends to award up to seven firm fixed IDIQ contract for commercially available integrated voice services via Central , dial tone facilities to defense activities., using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 15 and FAR 16.505. This is a combined for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation of Commercial Items, with additional information included in this notice. This requirement will be solicited as full and open competition. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 517111, Wired Telecommunication Carriers and the size standard is 1,500.
BACKGROUND: NCTAMS LANT provides critical base level communications to base users and supported commands and is integral to the mission for all users onboard Naval Air Station (NAS) Key West, Naval Station (NAVSTA) Great Lakes, NAVSTA Norfolk, Joint Expeditionary Base (JEB) Little Creek, Naval Support Activity (NSA) Mechanicsburg, NSA Philadelphia, and Philadelphia Navy Yard (PNYA) Philadelphia by providing critical commercial telephone services to all users and supported commands. Those commands have many critical National Defense missions to support operational and readiness
requirements for Department of War (DoW), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Guard units, federal agencies and allied forces.
