attachments. The subject requirement is to transport sailors with the local Newport News area from Government Leased Apartments to the 50th Street turnstile. Additional information and locations are in the PWS. Please refer to the PWS. COMBINED The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Norfolk, VA 23511-3998, intends to award a firm fixed contract for sailor transportation Transport approximately 400 Sailors within the local Newport News area from Government Leased Apartments (GLAs) to 50th Street turnstile and other location listed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 15 and FAR 16.505. This is a combined for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation of Commercial Items, with additional information included in this notice. This requirement will be solicited as a 100% Small Business set aside. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 485999, All Other Transit and Ground Passenger Transportation and the size standard is $19,000,000.00.
BACKGROUND: The contractor shall transport sailors safely to associated locations, including but not limited to 50th Street turnstile, 35th Street turnstile, 37th Street Parking Garage, GLA’s, Huntington Hall, and Bank Building. These services shall be provided per the Performance Work Statement. Please read the attached Solicitation for additional information.
