Questions & Answers The United States Embassy in Kingston, Jamaica invites quotations for vehicle rental services which consist of the rental of six (6) vehicles of varying types, to accommodate frequent cross-country travel and field operations through and within mountainous regions.
Requirements of rental contract to include vehicle insurance coverage, vehicle maintenance management, unlimited mileage, repair and replacement options. Vehicle types include SUV (minimum 5 seater), minivan (minimum 7 seater) and pickup truck (5 seater, 4doors). All vehicles shall meet the following minimum specifications: Vehicle age: At least 3 years Fuel Type – Gasoline/Diesel Automatic Transmission Automatic (power windows) Functional door locks and safety locks Fully functional air conditioning system Factory tinted Antilocking Braking System (ABS) AM/FM Radio Bluetooth Connectivity (preferred) Responses must include a compliance checklist that shows where specifications for the quoted vehicles equal or exceed the minimum required specifications. Quotations should show the monthly rental cost for each type of vehicle.
