The Department of Energy is procuring 10 hydrogen water dropout heat exchangers for the Multimegawatt Electrolyzer project. These heat exchangers will cool the hydrogen process stream and must meet specific technical requirements outlined in the RFQ.
The work involves the manufacturing and provision of heat exchangers that will be used in cooling hydrogen process streams in a specific electrolyzer project.
This purchase is to acquire a quantity of 10 heat exchangers (HX) that will cool the hydrogen process stream produced by PEM electrolyzer stacks being tested as part of the Multimegawatt (MMW) Electrolyzer project. The process fluids will be 50/50 propylene glycol/water and hydrogen saturated with water. The portions of each heat exchanger containing hydrogen need to be cleaned and passivated for service with DI water.
