Description

The 410th Contracting Support Brigade, Regional

Contracting Office (RCO) Miami, intends to award sole source purchase order to SAFE Boats International. This decision is based on market research conducted and previous acquisition. SAFE Boats International is the exclusive patent holder of U.S. Patents 5,282,436, 5,647,297 and 5,870,965. all of which pertain to foam stabilized watercraft. No other manufacturer can legally Produce a foam stabilized watercraft with the same properties as a SAFE Boat. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(6), this requirement will be sole sourced to SAFE Boats International Saint Vincent, as it is the only source reasonably available to fulfill the current

requirements of USSOUTHCOM. This notice does not constitute a request for competitive quotations. However, businesses that believe they possess the qualifications to repair the SAFEBOAT 33’ Hull may submit written evidence of their capabilities to [email protected] by no later than 09:00 AM EST on

20 May 2026. A justification for limited competition has been submitted and is included in the contract file. Interested parties should provide detailed documentation that demonstrates their ability to meet the specified
