This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or a commitment by the Government. Purpose: The purpose of this notice is to determine if there are qualified 8(a) firms interested and capable of fulfilling the requirement described below. The Government intends to use this information to determine the feasibility of an 8(a) sole source acquisition. Requirement: The work includes performing all professional architectural and engineering services and all construction labor, tools, equipment, and materials for the Design-Build Major Maintenance & Repair (M&R) at USCG AIRTSA Miami, Florida. The
scope of work includes several key urepairs across multiple facilities. In the TACLET Building, the project will involve replacing the existing carpet flooring with floor tiling, repairing all damaged HVAC ducting and piping insulation, replacing all fan coil units (FCUs), and both air handling units (AHUs). Additionally, all windows and exterior doors will be replaced with hurricane-rated versions to enhance building resilience, all damaged ceiling tiles will be replaced, and comprehensive mold abatement will be conducted throughout the entire building. In the Galley Building and Building 112, the HVAC controls will be replaced to improve operational efficiency. At the AIRSTA Miami Fixed Wing Hangar, the air handling unit (AHU) will be replaced to ensure reliable climate control. Bid, Payment, and Performance Bonds are REQUIRED. Submission
