The scope of this requiement is for museum exhibit preservation and fabrication services for all 19 galleries within the National Museum of the Marine Corps (NMMC). Services includes, but is not limited to exhibit conservation, realism and optimization (to include fabrication and on-site installation services to repair damaged exhibits, replace exhibit elements that failed to meet the original design intent or have otherwise hampered visitor traffic flow). This work applies to any element in the gallery and includes, but is not limited to graphics, artifact cases, artifact mounts, realistic scenery, interactive kiosks, paint, minor drywall repair, media, AV systems and carpet. The typical types of tasks that could be expected include drawings, display structures and specialty fabrication, themed displays, graphics, exhibit floor coverings, samples, custom artifact cases, micro artifact mounts and exhibit properties (Props).
