U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Detroit District is seeking contractors for the FY24 Alpena Harbor Maintenance Dredging project located in Alpena, Michigan. The Contractor will mobilize dredge to Alpena Harbor and dredge between the upstream and downstream limits as shown on the plans and place the dredge material at the Holcim site in Alpena, Ml. Demobilize when dredging work is completed. Dredging and placement is restricted to mechanical methods. This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) as a 100% set-aside for small businesses. Bid bond is required. The North American Industrial System (NAICS) code for this work is 237990 (Exception), Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, which has a small business size standard of $37 million (dredging) in average annual receipts. Hard copy documents will NOT be supplied by the Government to any interested parties as a result of this solicitation. Please note the Government will not be maintaining a bidders list during the solicitation period. However, vendors are strongly encouraged to review the Interested Vendors List found on sam.gov for this requirement.
