Description

U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s , Infrastructure and Support Services Operational Technology Division (OpsTech), is hosting a virtual Edge Computing Industry Day scheduled for July 15th, 2026 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM EST. CBP’s , Operational Technology Division (OpsTech), is actively implementing CBP’s edge computing capabilities to enhance mission-critical operations and support the agency’s operational technology landscape. As part of these efforts, CBP is seeking to engage with industry partners to share current edge computing technology implementation initiatives and explore innovative solutions that can further strengthen operational effectiveness at the edge. During this Industry Day session, OpsTech aims to foster collaboration and opportunities to dialogue and meet with interested vendors and stakeholders. The event will provide an overview of ongoing edge computing implementation activities/use-cases and invite industry ideas to help shape the direction of OpsTech's edge computing offerings to operational end-users. This Industry Day will feature OIT personnel discussing some capabilities that OIT is seeking. Vendors interested in addressing and demonstrating products that meet the information disseminated by the presenters will have a chance to sign up in CBP Business Connect to demonstrate their solution(s).
